What is Screen Printing?Screen printing is one of the
earliest techniques used for printing. The screen printing process
involves ink being passed through a mesh or screen that has been
stretched and is held on a frame, a stencil is then applied for the
pattern or picture. The stencil determines the image that will be
imprinted onto the material. Where Would You Use Screen Printing? The materials that
screen printing can be used on are too vast to name here! Any surface
that can be stretched and printed on is viable. We are able to screen
print onto materials ranging from fabrics such as silk, cotton and
polyesters through to posters, signs and flyers. Supplying Artwork for Screen PrintingAll artwork should be
supplied as print ready, high resolution PDF's with at least 5mm bleed
all around the item. If your document contains images please ensure
that they are 150 dpi or above to ensure a quality finish. If any
adjustments are required at the printing stage we will require the
source artwork files which must contain all images and fonts. |
