What is Digital Printing?

Digital printing is a printing technique that is more effective for short runs, it is incredibly fast, and you are able to customise each individual page printed.
This form of printing differs from the Lithographic technique in lots of ways including:
Each image can be different on every page.
The Ink or Toner (depending on the digital machine) does not absorb into the material, it forms a layer on the surface of the paper and is then fused to the paper by toner or UV curing process (ink).
It is excellent for small print runs, making print more accessible and cost effective.

Where Would You Use Digital Printing?

This form of printing is more cost effective for smaller volume runs and where personalisation is key to each document that is printed.  You are not able to use this type of digital printing for items larger than A3.   

Supplying Artwork for Digital Printing

All artwork should be supplied as print ready, high resolution PDF's with at least 5mm bleed all around the item.  If your document contains images please ensure that they are 150 dpi or above to ensure a quality finish.  If any adjustments are required at the printing stage we will require the source artwork files which must contain all images and fonts.
